We are a training practice. This means we are involved in the teaching of doctors after qualification and, occasionally, medical students before qualification.
We usually have several GP registrars and/or foundation doctors working with us. They are fully qualified doctors who are gaining more experience in General Practice. This doctor may use video equipment to record consultations and check consulting techniques – this will only be done with your prior consent.
Your doctor may occasionally have a medical student sitting in on consultations. If you would prefer to see your doctor alone please let them know. As part of their assessment, other GPs come into practice and may review consultations. Strict rules about confidentiality apply.
